Google Classroom

What are Google Apps for Schools?

The Google Apps for Schools are a group of tools that allow teachers and children to work together online. We can use word-processing documents, spreadsheets, websites, discussion boards and more. All tools are free, reliable and secure. They are not tracked by Google and contain no advertising. You can find out more on Google's own pages of information for parents.

How do pupils use it?

All children have an email address and password. Start by visiting any google website (such as classroom.google.com) and looking in the top-right for a 'Sign In' button. This should take you to your child's online Classroom, but you can also use the 9-dot menu grid to look at emails, create documents or use any of the other tools.
